Sony offers in ISE a vision of the future of the education sector and the professional world

With the revelation of its latest audiovisual and IT solutions at its stand (1-N20) in Ise 2020, Sony Solutions Europe stages a vision aimed at creating an ideal future for the education sector and the professional world. These solutions include a new MAS-A100 multidirectional microphone for conferences and presentations, an update to the transformative workspace management solution with TEOS 2.2 and an expansion of the range of laser projectors.
Visitors will also witness the images and new interactive content that the Crystal LED 4K x 2K display system can offer..

Education sector
Sony is expanding its range of advanced solutions for realization, recording and live streaming of presentations and video content in educational settings. All solutions are combined in the demonstration space that the company has at ISE.
Among these solutions is the MAS-A100 IP-based multidirectional ceiling microphone, that allows you to make conferences and presentations in a flexible way, creative and hands totally free. Provides clear, advanced speech-reinforcing sound and a recording function with a unique combination of multidirectional technology and an intelligent interference reducer.
In addition, with the Dante Digital IP Over Audio Network Standard, the microphone can be easily integrated into existing audiovisual environments.
Another solution is Edge Analytics Appliance (REA-C1000), that allows you to create impactful video content with a minimum of resources.
This AI-powered solution includes an automatic handwriting removal feature from black and white whiteboards, a chroma-free CG overlay function, to extract the presenter and overlay it on any background without the need to use an express backdrop or have specialized training. Automatic PTZ tracking also takes care of keeping presenters framed throughout the presentation through a precise and fluid tracking function.
For its part, UbiCast is an easy-to-use automated solution that enables corporate organizations and educational institutions to create and share dynamic video content, packed with features and searchability.
UbiCast will also have a new generation of video recorders compatible with the latest SRG cameras. In order to improve the audio experience for online viewers, both the recorders and the video platform will have the audio add-ons of automatic gain control (Agc) and Sony Noise Reduction.
Professional world
Today, Sony TEOS continues to play a pivotal role in transforming workspaces to improve productivity, efficiency and employee engagement in more than 200 organizations of 28 different countries, such as Capgemini and Siemens.
The latest updates to the TEOS range put at the service of users a set of tools that improves flexibility and the ability to collaborate at work. TEOS 2.2 uses advances in IoT sensor technology to power integration and reveal new efficiencies.
Among the 20 new features and functions offered include tailor-made smart home automation options, a new customizable meeting viewing interface and intuitive Outlook integration for room booking and check-in at reception, as well as to share content.
For this market, Sony has four new professional tablets TEB-XP, available in sizes ranging from 7 at 22 Inch, designed for meeting rooms, classrooms and reception areas; an Android 4K player that allows you to duplicate display content for posters and meeting rooms using TEOS Connect; and two new smart sensors, one for a desk to measure occupancy and a meeting room for measuring occupancy and CO2 level.
Visitors to the Sony stand at ISE will be able to witness demonstrations of seven models from the Bravia professional monitor range, that combine high image quality and design with advanced professional features that meet the audiovisual needs of any organization.
Laser projection
From basic to high-end projectors, Sony has a solution for any space and budget, whether they are classrooms, conference centres or museums. In addition, the new laser equipment will be compatible with the intelligent configuration function, simplify installation with presets that adapt brightness, the cooling system, color and other parameters to optimize their performance depending on the place of use.
Its catalog has five new models: VPL-FHZ131L, VPL-FHZ101L, VPL-FHZ91L, VPL-PHZ12 and VPL-CWZ10. The first is Sony's brightest high-end WUXGA projector and can be seen at ISE, while the others will not be released until spring.
With outputs up to 13.000 Lumens,reproduction of the 100 % of the S-RGB color space and a high level of ∞ contrast:1, the VPL-FHZ131L generates very bright images, attractive and immersive. Wide lens shift capability and optional VPLL-Z4107 short-range lens improve installation flexibility in locations with projection distance limitations.
The VPL-FHZ101L and VPL-FHZ91L models are two high-end WUXGA projectors, with outputs of 10.000 and 9.000 Lumens, respectively.
The VPL-PHZ12 is the new mid-range WUXGA laser projector from 5. 000 Lumens, using a 0.76 LCD panel″ with built-in optical compensator. This model generates bright and vivid images with a high level of contrast of ∞:1 and realistic color reproduction.
last, The VPL-CWZ10 is a WXGA laser equipment from 5.000 lumens that its manufacturer qualifies as the most compact in the sector. This projector is approximately one 40 % smaller and a 35 % lighter than the conventional model (VPL-PWZ10).
