The reopening of stores has been accompanied by recommendations in the form of capacity limitations, safety distances and hygiene measures as a form of prevention. In this scenario, Orange has decided to go a step further and introduce technological solutions that allow it to face these challenges in an automatic way and focused on the benefit of its customers..
Appointment app and shift management are expanded through the Orange app, and from the shop windows themselves, where customers can follow at all times the evolution of shifts.
For capacity control, the functions of counting systems have been extended through high-reliability 3D sensors. These manage input data, outputs and capacity in real time, both to inform Orange employees, as to inform customers through the digital signage screens located in the windows and inside the stores.
This information is combined with appointment and shift information, so that visitors receive can know at all times the status of their visit and manage the wait in a more pleasant way.
Shift and appointment management has an intelligent manager, the BeWin solution from Altabox|econocom, that allows to adapt the capacity according to the Orange staff available in the store at all times, and according to pre-established appointments. The store thus adapts not only to the regulations of capacity according to the square meters, but also according to the staff who can serve visitors and manage the store with the greatest security. At all times communication with customers is fluid and adapts in real time to the activity of the store.
"It is a project that has begun with the Orange stores in Madrid and large capitals although the idea is to extend it to all the concepts of the company where there is communication with screens", comments Roi Iglesis, Product Global Manager econocomretail.
Orange has opted for Altabox's digital solutions|Econocom, company that owns the BeWin solution for appointment management, shifts and integrated counting system. The services it has prepared for this new retail scenario are integrated with its digital signage solutions (more information at Digital AV) that allow the appropriate messages and recommendations to be issued to consumers.
