Obsidian NX Sync: USB time code device SMPTE plug and play

Obsidian Control Systems has expanded its line of professional solutions with the launch of NX Sync, a plug-and-play USB SMPTE timecode device.
This captures the timecode in various SMPTE formats of your XLR connection from 3 pins and turns it into a MIDI timecode flow (MTC), where it can be read in Onyx or any other MIDI timecode compatible software. In addition, also capture MTC and send it as SMPTE.
NX Sync incorporates a hardware architecture for instant processing and minimal frame delays. This Obsidian solution, brand that distributes Elation Professional, no custom drivers required, and in addition to working with Onyx, can be used as an SMPTE/MTC and MTC/SMPTE device for Windows applications 10 and MAC OS.
This latest addition to the Onyx product line is marketed with an impact-resistant housing, offers a Kensington K-Lock for security and is powered directly via USB. A custom Onyx Hi-Speed USB cable is included.
