Albany Airport renews its obsolete ribbon screen for a Led solution from SNA Displays
Located above the check-in counters are ten indoor Led screens of the Bold series. These measure 8 meters long and around 30 cm high, offer a pixel pitch of 2,5 mm and, each of them, has a resolution of 3,200×90 Pixels.
As part of a renovation project, SNA Displays has provided the Albany International Airport Ten LED screens, replacing the obsolete tricolour message centres above check-in counters. New display solution offers better communication and welcome to travelers and features a revitalized, high-tech look.
In addition, of Led screens, SNA Displays has provided the airport with the content management system and metal cabinets, that are mounted on the ceiling, to match the original design.
the 10 Screens, of the company's Bold interior product line, Measure 8 meters long and around 30 cm high. Using a pixel pitch of 2,5 Mm, each Led ribbon screen has a resolution of 3.200 pixels width by 90 high.
SNA Displays worked with Color-Ad, that provided audiovisual integration and installation services, and Crystal McKenzie, who offered their design expertise.
Albany International Airport is the first and oldest municipal airport in the United States. It is located at the junction of interstate highways 90 and 87 and is positioned as the main air hub of the Capital Region, northeastern New York and western New England.
