Samsung promotes AI training for young Spaniards

Under the educational strategy of the global Corporate Citizenship program, the company has launched Samsung Innovation Campus, for young people from among 18 and 25 years who have knowledge in programming, Probability and statistics.

Under the name Samsung Innovation Campus, the company has launched a training program in new technologies and Artificial Intelligence. The objective is to promote the learning and employability of young people in Spain.

Courses, scholarships in their entirety by Samsung, will be taught in parallel at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the University of Malaga. Training, which will begin in early September and last approximately three months, It will be carried out in person as long as the competent authorities allow it.. In case of not being able to be done in person, the course can be taught electronically.

"The Samsung Innovation Campus program aims to improve the technological skills of young Spaniards with a view to their incorporation into the labor market, training them in subjects increasingly demanded by companies and with a very broad future potential", says Miguel Angel Ruiz, Brand and Corporate Citizenship Senior Manager of the organization.

To access this training program it is necessary to have between 18 and 25 years and possess basic knowledge in programming, Probability and statistics. In addition, must be part of the community for Spanish developers Samsung Dev Spain, where it is intended to provide tools and knowledge to local developers to promote access to new challenges and professional opportunities.

In this way, The course is aimed at young people who have a special interest in developing their future in the field of artificial intelligence..

Of the 240 hours of course duration, Two thirds will be destined to the most theoretical part and to the realization of practical exercises, while the last month will be reserved to carry out a final project of the course in which students will demonstrate their knowledge in the different subjects taught, among which are Python, statistics, Deep Learning or Machine Learning. With this educational project, Samsung will form, in this first edition, to a total of 40 students, 20 for each participating university.
