Navori QL software boosts Dooh advertising at Istanbul Airport

This digital signage tool was chosen to synchronize players with different operating systems and screen designs. To do this, the company's engineers created a streamer that matches each player's clock to the QL Server.

Since its opening a little over a year and a half ago, the Istanbul Airport in Turkey is poised to become the world's largest for passenger traffic. Its main building occupies an area of 1,4 million square meters and is where the main digital signage facility is located.

The resulting network features giant LED boards, Signage Displays 55 inches and digital totem 65 to 75 Inch, supports that are being deployed over a total area of 2.739 square meters of surface area and whose installation is being deployed in three phases.

In this terminal, travelers are greeted by a large cast of screens (The facility is expected to consist of some 726 LCD and LED models of various sizes) whose content is enhanced by digital signage software Navori QL.

Mediaport Marketing, Istanbul Airport's Digital Advertising Operator, selected QL software because of its technical benefits, such as multiplayer synchronization and third-party integration. The former offers a seamless experience for travelers by displaying timed content on video walls and screens that are within the visitor's field of vision, as they move through the terminal.

Ads are delivered with a mix of dynamic content (Videos, imagery, Multi-layered templates, Data Sources) with news, climate, Entertainment & Promotional Information.

Professional rendering ensures that common media is synchronized to 1/20 second in the 726 Screens Samsung SoCs running on Tizen versions 4 o Windows QL Player software. Navori's 'Time Streamer' innovation delivers professional content rendering and syncs each QL Player clock with the QL server, regardless of the player's operating system.

QL Player software ensures an optimal viewing experience with seamless video transitions, Multi-layered templates and dynamic HTML5 content.

Navori's extensive third-party software integration capabilities extend beyond simply feeding data to audience measurement systems. These integrations, along with detailed content playback reports, help Mediaport evaluate the success of each campaign and build future media plans based on ad impressions and other audience criteria.
