Scala completes its Linux and Windows offering for digital signage with new players
The models presented are: Media Player-R, Media Player-R Plus, Media Player-DX and Media Player-Q. Equipment that has been designed without fan or disk, and are reinforced to minimize security vulnerabilities.
Scala has added to its catalog four multimedia players designed to work specifically with the manufacturer's software. With these equipment offers a complete line ranging from entry level to high-end 4K UHD models with multiple output.
New players support Linux or Windows environments for stable, scalable content presentation in virtually any application, whether they are stores, fast-service restaurants, banking, transport, DooH or digital signage applications.

The new models presented by Scala are: Media Player-R, Media Player-R Plus, Media Player-DX and Media Player-Q.
The Media Player-R is an entry-level media player that features single output and runs on Linux. It is designed for HD content. It is the first line of hardware specially designed and developed by Scala's engineering team and produced at its manufacturing plant in China., which was acquired by Stratacache in December 2018.
The Plus also runs on Linux. It has twice as much memory and storage as the standard version and is capable of playing 4K video.
The Media Player-DX model is a Windows or Linux player with dual output 4K UHD, ideal for use with videowall large format Led applications in the business environment.
last, the Media Player-Q is a quad 1080p output computer that runs on Windows or Linux and is designed for digital menu boards, videowall and multi-screen projects.
New Scala media players have locking connectors for HDMI, serial and power supply to keep critical connections secure. Feature a fan- and disc-free design, to protect them from dust, and are reinforced to minimize security vulnerabilities.
