L-Acoustics completes its K-Series with the small and versatile two-way K3 enclosure

The K Series of acoustic enclosures L-Acoustics now adds the K3 model, the smallest in the range to meet sound providers who hold small and medium-sized events, providing a compact and accessible system that offers full bandwidth without the need to add subwoofers.
This is what Florent Bernard points out, Executive Director of Application Design at L-Acoustics: "Our design team has created a dual system with 12" components with the stem, The price and space of a 10", plus full-range performance in a compact, affordable enclosure, tailor-made for small and medium-sized events and spaces, which are what most sound providers work on. When combined with the K1 and K2 venues, it is a perfect and scalable tool to respond to larger capacity events.".
The K3 system incorporates all the defining features of the L-Acoustics K-Series, with the difference that it is a 33% smaller than the K2 model and weighs 43 Kg.
Just like the rest, Features mechanical design and laminar reflex ports, and integrates Panflex functionality to manually select up to four horizontal directionality patterns (70° / 110° and 90° L/R), among other possibilities.
With a bandwidth of 42 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum sound pressure of 143 db, integrates L-Acoustics Dosc waveguide. One of its advantages is that it does not require a dedicated subwoofer and can be used as the main system for vocal and musical reinforcement at events, Festivals, etc. The manufacturer has announced that next year it will start production of the K3i installation enclosure.
