Drago becomes Spain's most advanced audiovisual production center
For the renewal of these studies, different models of Genelec SAM monitors have been used and in two of the 15 Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment Studio certified rooms, which adds to Dolby Vision, with which these facilities already had.
Drago Studios, belonging to the Sequoia Group, have undertaken a major renovation of their facilities, making them the most advanced audiovisual production center in Spain. Thanks to the high technological level achieved, house the audio production center of the content provider of one of the largest digital film and TV platforms in the world.
The company SES-Audio has been in charge of developing a comprehensive solution, carrying out the civil works of insulation and acoustic conditioning, planimetry, engineering and installation and maintenance of audio systems and audiovisual workflows with Pro Tools systems, S6, Dolby Atmos and Genelec SAM, brand that distributes Audio-Technica Iberia.
Drago studios have also incorporated certification Dolby Atmos Home for your study 1, which adds to Dolby Vision, with which these facilities already have. For Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment Studio certification worldwide, SES Audio has developed the entire certification program based on Dolby protocols for its rooms.
Based on the trust placed in SES-Audio by the technical and operations director of Secuoya, Raul Pino, and under its supervision, the integration with the CPD of the three Pro Tools rooms was developed, the Color Correction room and the Q.C room.
In the living room 1, Dolby Atmos certified, a total of 11 Monitors 8341 and a subwoofer 7380. The room 2 has a system 7.1.4, composed of 11 units 8341 and two units 7360. It is fully compatible with the room 1, allowing maximum flexibility in optimizing workflows. Also maintains compatibility with the room 3 for work in stereo formats and 5.1. This has five monitors 8320 and a subwoofer 7350.
In order to guarantee sound quality throughout the entire post-production chain and exceed the demands derived from the rigorous quality controls of cinema and OTT platforms, the quality control room has also been equipped with a monitoring system consisting of 11 units 8330 and a subwoofer 7360, capable of playing content in all formats, including Dolby Atmos Home.
At last, a total of 11 video editing rooms, each equipped with monitors 8330.
