Roland Adds V-1HD+ HD Video Switcher for Live Events to its V-Series

The new V-1HD HD video switcher+ of Roland is based on its popular V-series four-channel device, incorporating a more comprehensive feature set for advanced switching, Maintaining the manufacturer's characteristics in ease of use, Professional performance and reliability.
With versatile HDMI inputs/outputs, Advanced control options, Essential monitoring tools, fourteen-channel audio mixing and Roland sound quality, V-1HD+ is a compact A/V switching solution for top-tier visual storytellers.
From live events and company conferences to educational settings and places of worship, V-1HD+ is inspired by the need of today's creators to do more. Four HDMI inputs are included for mixing various video sources, as cameras, Presentation Computers, Tablets and game consoles.
Added to this is the scaling integrated into the input 4, so users can automatically synchronize and calibrate problematic video sources without using external equipment. In addition, two independent HDMI outputs are offered for added versatility in professional productions.
The familiar interface of the V-1HD+ Simplify and speed up all production work. Panel buttons provide quick access to the system menu, Enabling/deactivating downstream keying, Type of transition, Image Within Image, Enable/disable effects and other commonly used features.
Roland V-1HD+ it also incorporates PGM and PST buses and a transition/fade bar (T-bar), which are extensively tested and beginner-friendly video switching controls. It has touch dials for audio volume, Signal/peak lights and unit gain markers for easy and intuitive on-the-fly sound levels.
In addition to camera switching, V-1HD+ Allows a single operator to mix professional sound thanks to the integration of the fourteen-channel digital audio mixer.
Two XLR mic inputs with selectable phantom power provide support for professional broadcast microphones, along with an entrance of 1/8 inch for a lavalier mic or stereo audio source (smartphone). It has another stereo line input available on RCA jacks, and the mix also supports embedded stereo digital audio from the four HDMI inputs.
Each V-1HD audio input+ It has its own three-band EQ, High Pass Filter, compressor and noise gate, besides Delay to match the audio to the video if needed.
XLR and 1/8" inputs also include De-essers to clean up voices in real time. With the limiter, Three-band EQ and compressor on balanced HDMI and analog TRS outputs, Users can deliver optimal audio in their work.
V-1HD+ It incorporates several real-time monitoring tools to achieve the best audiovisual results. A ten-window multi-viewer display can be applied to one or both HDMI outputs, allowing users to queue camera shots and preview presentations, in addition to selecting stored still images before taking them live to the program output.
It is also possible to monitor the recording status of camcorders and signal level indicators. The equipment also allows audio monitoring through headphones.
V-1HD's powerful effects processor+ Keeps audiences engaged through visually appealing content. Operators can use four composition layers to add lower-third titles, Logos, Social Media Comments, etc.
The DSK layer (Downstream Keyer) You can independently compose a picture-in-picture window over a video signal, This is especially useful in hybrid live and online events. Other useful production tools include support for the Tally, Remote recording activation for Atomos recorders and RS-232 port for connection with older equipment.
Direct USB Livestreaming
Roland has also unveiled its new USB UVC video capture-01, a simple optional HDMI to USB video conversion tool.
This device allows users to convert an HDMI output from the V-1HD switch+ on USB webcam signal 3.0 that requires no configuration, to livestream in HD on Facebook Live, YouTube, Zoom and other platforms.
