Gesab and Fountainhead Control Rooms modernize NASA's control centers
The collaboration of both companies has made it possible to update the positions of more than 220 Operators, belonging to eight centers, and renew them with control consoles that have been customized.
The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Fish trap) has completed the modernization of eight control centers with a total of more than 220 Operators, using the control console solutions of Gesab. Project that has been carried out through its partner in the United States Fountainhead Control Rooms.
From the year 2016 until 2020, Gesab has installed its technical furniture in NASA Launch Vehicle Data Center's and NASA Mission Director's Center's located from coast to coast of the United States, at Cape Canaveral (Florida) and at Vandenberg Air Force Base (California).
These rooms, in collaboration with NASA, have also been used by the private sector in United Launch Alliance launches, a space launch services provider formed by Martin Space Systems and Boeing Defense, Space & Security and the company created by Elon Musk, SpaceX, First private company to launch the first manned flight from US soil.
The experience of Gesab's team of designers and engineers together with Fountainhead Control Rooms' knowledge of the American control center market, managed to meet the complex characteristics of the aerospace industry by providing a 100% customized model, technologically advanced and with specific ergonomic features.
