Now available, the latest Android update 9 for these TV can be installed remotely, using Philips PDS' exclusive CMND control and management platform, or manually via software downloaded to a company's dedicated USB stick.

The Philips MediaSuite range was shown for the first time on the market during ISE 2019 (more data in Digital AV), setting a new hospitality industry standard to deliver best-in-class 4K performance, in addition to a wide range of firsts on professional television.

These additions include Chromecast, access to thousands of apps through the Google Play Store and extensive remote customization and backend control and management capabilities.

Improvements include:

  • Netflix: announced on ISE 2020, the Android update 9 will make TVs for the hospitality mediasuite sector the first in the world to include this integrated platform as a team, allowing the 193 millions of subscribers of the streaming service enjoy all its contents through their screen in the room.
  • Disney+: with more than 60,5 millions of subscribers, Disney+ streaming app provides access to the latest favorite movies and TV shows under the umbrella of this brand, including Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars and National Geographic.
