Avixa Introduces New Board of Directors and Leadership Selection Committee 2021

For the third consecutive year, the Argentine Martín Saúl will be part of the Board of Directors, and he will do so as secretary-treasurer for the period of the 2021.

Avixa, (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) has announced the new members that will make up its Board of Directors (Avixa Board of Directors) and the Leadership Selection Committee (Leadership Search Committee – LSC) for the 2021.

For the third consecutive year, the Argentine Martín Saúl, CEO of ICAP Global, returns to a position on the Board of Directors of Avixa, on this occasion, as Secretary-Treasurer for 2021.

"Hearing a voice representing Latin America is very important to other Board members., is necessary to balance thinking and strategies. Los miembros de Avixa también eligieron para la Junta Directiva a Jatan Shah, Executive Vice President, director de Operaciones y Tecnología de QSC, y a Brad Sousa, director de Tecnología de AVI Systems.

In addition, el Comité de Selección de Liderazgo (LSC) ha nombrado a Tobias Lang, CEO of Lang AG, y Alexandra Rosen, directora de Venture Forward para GoDaddy, para la Junta Directiva. El comité también ha vuelto a nombrar a Cathryn Lai, vicepresidenta senior y directora general para los Estados Unidos de Scientific Games, Digital.

In addition, los miembros de Avixa han elegido a Althea Ricketts, vicepresidenta asociada de Operaciones, División de Ventas y Marketing Global, of Shure, para servir en el LSC.

El actual presidente de la Junta Directiva, Jeff Day, ha hecho dos nombramientos adicionales para el LSC: Flor López, como vicepresidenta de Marketing para México y Latam, de Encore Event Technologies, y Bill Fons, vicepresidente ejecutivo de Promotion Technology Group.

“Avixa estableció el Comité de Selección de Liderazgo en 2008 to identify volunteers willing to serve on the association's committees and make their way into future Board election meetings”, says Labuskes. “This group has the unique opportunity to recognize the leadership qualities in people and help guide them into future professional roles.”.
