SNA Displays provides a spectacular display solution by 10 Times Square
In this building of 34 four independent Led screens have been installed, one of them in the corner with a size of 7×20 metre.
SNA Displays has developed a spectacular Led display system with the Empire model for the building 10 Times Square, located on Broadway (New York).
The building of 34 floors and almost 175.260 square meters of space dedicated to commercial offices, is located at the northern end of Manhattan's Garment District and near Bryant Park.
Originally called Bricken Textile Building, 10 Times Square is owned and managed by LH Charney Associates, a privately owned real estate development company based in New York City.
The installed display system consists of four independent LED screens: A ticker located along the street 41 and another on 7th Avenue, a large-format corner screen and an Led sign that is projected over the entrance of the restaurant. All four allow for content coverage in all directions of the busy intersection.
All displays employ a pixel of 10 mm with different resolutions. The corner one has 7,3 meters high by 20,4 meters wide. In total, the four Led screens provide 1,9 million pixels and cover more than 609 Square Meters of Digital Signage Canvas.
“Yard House's new display technology is a great addition to 10 Times Square”, comments Nicole Rotyliano, Project Manager at SNA Displays. “The screens are designed so that people can see them from a long distance and come from whichever direction they come”.
The biggest challenge with installing multiple screens, according to Rotyliano, was to sequence the screens in a way that achieved the intent of the design, which was to align the existing ticker with the new one along the street 41 St. and wrap the building with LED screens of the 7 Th Ave.
"With an ambitious design that incorporated nine individual signs, all connected at angles of 90 Degrees, the Yard House exhibit presented our team of engineers and structural installers with a unique and exciting challenge.", Rotyliano clarifies.
SNA Displays completed a similar installation at the same site in 2017, just outside the Champs retail store. This project consisted of a large corner screen and Led tickers extended in both directions throughout the building.
Both for the new installation and for the previous Champs exhibitions, Sensory Interactive provided design services, Technology Selection, Bidding and project management.
For the most recent project, Sensory Interactive worked with LH Charney to strategize and share costs and screen time between the owner and Yard House. In addition, represented her to secure a long-term media sales deal with Foxpoint Media.
AMA Sign & Electric and Landmark Signs & Electrical Maintenance have been the companies responsible for the installation of the screens.
Yard House Times Square, which was announced in December 1999. 2019, is an American-style restaurant that offers a globally inspired menu, more than 100 Craft and imported beer taps and custom cocktails. Currently, It occupies several floors (approximately 5.791 square meters) of a prime business location.
