Powersoft updates its M-Force line and adds reference designs

With the introduction of the new and improved M-Force 301P02 and its associated reference designs, Powersoft pursues that everyone, from AV professionals to amateur speaker designers, can benefit from the company's powerful technology.

The patented structure of the M-Force mobile magnet linear motor allows for high levels of efficiency and reliability, making it the ideal choice for high-efficiency, high-pressure low-frequency sound reinforcement applications.

The new 301P02 model is presented as a complete solution that allows speaker builders of all levels to incorporate the M-Force into any design reliably, in both self-powered and passive configurations.

Motor factory-fits to-purpose diaphragm, through a newly designed coupling and lightweight chassis, which also improves heat dissipation, while the addition of a front spider further stabilizes the design.

New reference designs have been created by Powersoft to help users increase the SPL capabilities of their systems, whether they are speaker builders, sound system owners or installation professionals. All designs are free and come with a list of cuts and presets that can be handled using the company's ArmoníaPlus software..

EDM Sub

Powersoft's M-Force 301P02 is ideal for a variety of seemingly disparate applications.

The 'EDM Sub' bandpass design’ introduces two M-Force 301P02 transducers, which can be built as both a self-powered or passive sub-sub, powered by an M-Drive amplifier module coupled to a DSPL ETH or X4L amplification platform respectively. When powered by an X4L, the sub can be connected to a Dante network.

The design has been optimized to produce ultra-high sound pressure up to 18 hz, making the EDM SUB the perfect subwoofer and infrared complement for an installation or rotating sound reinforcement system.

DV SUB

DV SUB is a cabinet bandpass loaded with the M-Force 301P02 transducer for subwoofer applications.

The design has been optimized to produce a high sound pressure up to 28 Hz in a very compact package, which makes it the best upgrade for an existing subwoofer, virtually eliminating nonlinear distortions. There are two presets available to get the most out of this box: Standard and Punch, each of which is also available to accommodate cardioid configurations.

SUB Cinema

Cine SUB is a hybrid transmission line cabinet loaded with the M-Force 301P02 transducer for infra and subwoofer applications. The design has been optimized to produce low distortion and a high level of sound pressure of 16 Hz to 120 hz, according to Dolby and THX recommendations.

Thanks to this SPL, a single unit can replace four dual speakers 18 inches with better frequency and capacity extension, making it the perfect low-frequency system for cinema sound systems, as well as for high-end home theater installations.

Its modular design makes it ideal to be used in both single and double cabinet configuration, and both presets are available for linear and minimal phase configurations.
