PPDS screens change the rules of the game on PSV Eindhoven
In the room 'Jan Heintze Kick Box' of this football club have been installed eight new digital screens Philips (three 32" and one 50" from the Q line, and four 49" P-line) as part of a major update, which seeks to offer entertainment on match days and a business space the rest of the year.
Located in the center of Eindhoven, Philips Stadion is the stadium of the PSV (Philips Sport Vereniging), one of the biggest football clubs in the Netherlands. This multifunctional mega structure has the capacity to 35.000 people and has facilities that allow you to offer all kinds of events.
Inside this stadium is the Jan Heintze Kick Box, A luxurious and versatile room designed by Panduit which can hold up to 34 people and has its own bar, Private kitchen and buffet, as well as having perfect views of the pitch.
Panduit saw an opportunity to use this box as a meeting room as well as a shared facility to be reserved by outside clients, through Kick Offices, and get some extra benefits.
Providing a high-level professional communication system for meetings and events to local businesses was critical, as the demand for flexible and equipped offices and workspaces continues to grow.
According to studies carried out, The demand for flexible workspaces has increased by 50% in the last five years. currently, there are more than 31.000 Flexible offices available for rent and stadiums play an increasingly important role.
To make this project successful, the room needed to be equipped with an innovative AV infrastructure.
To ensure that the Jan Heintze Kick Box met all the requirements that were sought Atlona, Signify, Intelectric and PPDS came together to create the perfect space. A set of eight high-resolution Philips digital signage displays was selected and installed to maximize versatility of use.
Supported by Philips, Official Club Sponsor, The screens had been designed to create an inclusive and versatile meeting room experience. This company has recently expanded its sponsorship of the club, founded in 1913 under the name Philips Sport Vereniging, for another ten years, until 2031. It is the longest known sports sponsorship of any professional sports team, with a total of 118 years.
The installation inside the Jan Heintze Kick Box includes three screens of 32 Q Line Inches, four of 49 P line inches and, Designed as the centerpiece of the room, one of the 50 Q Line Inches.
Thanks to the PPDS CMND platform, Staff can manage and update TVs, either in the room or remotely, while branding and personalized content displayed on the screens, as well as promotions and sponsored content, can be created and deployed instantly.
A custom AV over IP solution from Atlona enabled wireless presentation options, Easy to use, for every screen, which ensures that both staff and guests can focus on your content as smoothly as possible. These can be cast and streamed from your Windows devices, Apple, Android or Linux instantly for greater efficiency.
A state-of-the-art sound system was also integrated that works seamlessly with the display system and offer a comprehensive audio-visual experience. The entire system was future-proofed with Li-Fi integration by Signify to optimize reliability.
