Ditec designs the conference and translation system for Itínere's boardroom
The new system allows face-to-face meetings through videoconferencing and VoIP calls, in addition to having two virtual rooms, with simultaneous translation, to follow the meeting.
Itíner Groupe is one of Spain's leading infrastructure managers. The company has completed the technological renovation project of the audiovisual system in the board room of its headquarters in Madrid, that you have designed Ditec Communications.
This audio-visual upgrade required improvement in the quality of the conferencing and interpretation system, as well as the expansion of its functionalities, for which after a thorough analysis of the equipment, Ditec made a number of changes.
specifically, The Central Conference Unit has been replaced, since the existing one was obsolete, and built-in audio processor for making calls with VoIP protocol, in addition to changing the control to one of Extron to manage the new audio-visual system.
Once the installation and commissioning project has been executed, The system allows face-to-face meetings, via video conferencing with Microsoft Teams & VoIP Calling.
In addition, with the reconfiguration of the simultaneous translation system Bosch DCN and the new TesiraForté VT audio processor from Biamp Meeting participants can choose which language they want to follow the meeting in, connecting to the virtual room of the selected language.
Each of these virtual rooms allows you to follow the meetings with live translation in two languages, in the case of the Itínere project in Spanish and English, in addition to facilitating the intervention of the participants in their language, which will also be translated.
The result is an intuitively manageable system, with a touch panel through which the different video and audio signals in the room can be switched, in addition to making and receiving VoIP calls and entering different modes of operation of the equipment.
