For the realization of this temporary project were used 49 Mythos luminaires with which they created from narrow beams of light to impressive aerial effects.

Eclipse and Claypaky at Museum of the Future

Eclipse Staging Services has supported its partner People with one of the most spectacular installations that have been made in recent years in the United Arab Emirates, specifically in the Museum of the Future, located in Dubai. This is a masterpiece of architecture 77,7 meters that will be inaugurated this year and that was activated for the celebrations of the National Day with the temporary installation of 49 ClayPaky Mythos within its central void.

With the design concept and production of the event by People, the Eclipse team worked together with iRIG, the designated rigging contractor, to hang the luminaires within a design of 360 Degrees, facing the clock, from custom-rolled tubes hung from the building structure. Since the place is still under construction, additional security measures had to be taken into account and implemented to ensure that the entire team could work smoothly on site.

Lighting Designer Tony (turbo) Hall worked alongside the Eclipse programmer while the light show ran live for six nights.

The design of the equipment allowed to create several key aspects, from narrow beams of light centered in the center of the vacuum, switching between red colors, white and green of the United Arab Emirates, even stunning aerial effects as luminaries headed towards the nearby emirates towers.

“Loved being able to use the ClayPaky Mythos 2 for this project. During programming, improved performance, even in saturated colors, proved to be a winning combination. The units proved to be extremely robust, no on-site failures. Given the problems of access to the units, this was vitally important”, states Tony Hall
