Christie unveils new Mirage SST-6P dual head and 6P 3D projection system

This pure laser RGB solution, with 4K resolution and 18.000 Lumens, is intended for installation in theme parks, giant-screen attractions or domes.

Mirage SST-6P is the last projection system to have released Christie. This is a 3D and 6-Primary pure laser RGB solution (6Q), dual-headed, 4K resolution and 18.000 Lumens, that doubles the on-screen brightness of 3D projection systems 30.000 lamp-based lumens. A team that has been designed to project sharp images, colorists and bright of the highest quality in theme parks, giant-screen attractions or domes.

This dual-head, 6P 3D projection system uses two groups of primary RGB lasers with slightly off-center wavelengths: one directed at the right eye and the other to the left. Reusable passive 3D goggles filter out different wavelengths and send, without a seal, light to the corresponding eye. The result is a natural and comfortable 3D visual experience.

It is a system that projects light on the screen with a degree of efficiency of the 90%, compatible with white screen to melt the multiprojection matrices so common in domes or dark ride type attractions (haunted castles, ghost train, Etc.), or in so-called flying theaters or flying theaters.

TruLife electronics allow mirage SST-6P to project 4K 3D content at 120fps per eye, with the option to increase to 480fps in 2K.

The system uses two projection heads with fiber coupling, with refrigerators and external light sources. Projection heads are silent, compact and lightweight, and generate a lower heat level than 2.400 BTU each.

With the possibility of omnidirectional orientation and solid-state lighting, the Mirage SST-6P has been designed with the flexibility required to install projection systems in harsh environments. Ensures 30.000 virtually maintenance-free hours with operation 80% glitter.

This projector incorporates Twist tools to perform warping and blending in the system itself, and is compatible with Mystique, a camera-based automatic alignment software solution, and with Guardian to perform invisible, real-time automatic correction of molten images without interrupting content projection.
