Unilumin's curved Led video wall stars in the virtual studio of the Palais des Congres in Paris
The new virtual set uses upad III panels to form a large visual wall, which is managed with two Led Tessera S8 processors from Brompton Technology.
Located in the Palais des Congrès de Paris, the specialist Mvision has designed and equipped the new audiovisual studio with which this entity responds to the celebration of major events, that in person are now not feasible due to capacity limitations and restrictions.
The system that stars in the new virtual set, of 300 square meters, is great curved Led videowall, configured with panels Unilumin Upad III, with pixel pitch 2,6 and controlled by two Led Tessera S8 of Brompton Technology.
For more than twenty years, Mvision, Unilumin partner, provides his services as an audiovisual technical expert in France, with investments in state-of-the-art equipment to implement innovative solutions, as with this film studio, capture and dissemination of events at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, the third the company has equipped for the production of creative and virtual content in this country.
"Mvision invested in its first Led screens more than eight years ago, and our first cylindrical screen received an award at the Heavent Paris innovation fair, recalls Meziane Lounis, CEO of Mvision-. since, we have accumulated experience and knowledge in Led technology, with the latest opening of a studio and the investment in the processing of Led Brompton as part of our long-term development strategy".
Brompton Technology's Led Tessera S8 processor is particularly suitable for projects that do not require a large production capacity, but they benefit from the flexibility of its functions and its user-friendly software.
As Lounis points out, "We chose Tessera S8 for this immersive Led studio because of its product quality and perfect color rendering.. The Tessera Feature Set, as well as its latest firmware updates, allows us to adapt well to the demands of our XR studio and offers real quality when it comes to eliminating grayscale color tones with its PureTone functionality and its contrast and color saturation.
The new study has already been used for numerous events, as virtual conventions for companies. Thanks to the processing of Tessera in unilumin Led panels, the equipment has achieved optimal sharpness that eliminates the 'moaré effect', in addition to avoiding problems such as flickering, multiplexing and banding on the Led screen when used in the dark.
"Our new study at the Palacio de Congresos is part of an evolution in event practices," adds Lounis.. The use of the Unilumin Led screen and the Brompton Tessera processor allows us to create events that can integrate physical objects into the virtual environment, energizing productions and allowing us to change scenes ad infinitum".
These three new MVision virtual studios "are a permanent part of our offering that directly supports the evolution of digital practices in the events sector.. In the coming years, one of the main issues will be to achieve the balance between events and physical and virtual productions.. Tessera Led processing will support both areas and, In fact, will bridge the gap between them", concludes Lounis.
