Polish pavilion Mosir Pulawy updates its AV system with AEQ intercom
The IP system of this sports venue is based on the Crossnet matrix, TP user panels 8000, Xplorer wireless pouches and Olympia commentator position 3 from this provider.
Built in 2020, with capacity for more than 4.400 present, the multifunctional pavilion Mosir Pulawy is an important sports centre in the Polish region of Wlostowice, to the East of the country, which has become one of the most modern facilities at national and European level.
In addition to sporting events, this pavilion hosts concerts and other events. As part of the technical equipment project, all audiovisual systems were installed from scratch, along with one of scenic mechanics and lighting.
Within the numerous systems that make up an audiovisual installation of this level, the intercom selected in this project has been Aeq Crossnet, along with TP8000 user panels, joined by AoIP protocol AES67-Dante.
AEQ Crossnet is a compact Intercom matrix, of a height rack unit, with basic IP connectivity based on Dante technology and compatible with the new AES standard 67 carrying high-quality broadcast-grade audio.
In addition, has high-quality balanced analog audio inputs and outputs and includes support for Kroma's previous IP panels and interfaces with compressed telephone bandwidth audio, as well as for Kroma panels with digital audio link.
Thanks to its scalability, from a system of 40×40 to one of 168×168, Crossnet offers a wide type of external connections: analog ports, Digital, AoIP Dante and low bit rate IP. The integration of this variety of connections within the same equipment allows the user to reduce the external equipment needed.
To facilitate the work of operators to move freely within the enclosure, have to communicate with AEQ Crossnet with pouchs (beltpack) Wireless Xplorer. Based on WiFi technology, has a user interface with four shortcut keys organized in pages, two other programmable and a multifunction display.
practically, xplorer is a wireless intercom panel that can work associated with an intercom array or as a terminal party-line. WiFi technology in 5GHz facilitates installation, commissioning and maintenance of the system, since in addition to being implemented worldwide, it even allows sharing the existing wireless network.
WiFi systems with managed access points perform the function roaming facilitating free movement through the entire coverage area.
In addition, in the Mosir Pulawy pavilion the new position of commentators AEQ Olympia3 was integrated, that allows the work as an isolated workspace for journalists who follow the sporting events that take place in the enclosure, or integrated with Crossnet as an intercom panel plus. In both cases, the audio produced is of the highest quality thanks to the AES67-Dante over IP connectivity of the unit.
The project, with installation, configuration, start-up and training has been led by the technical team of Tommex, local distributor of AEQ and in collaboration with the central technical services of this provider in Madrid, who remotely during the pandemic worked to complete their execution.
