Bose AMM: multipurpose speakers for permanent and temporary installations
The new line for professional applications that has been presented Bose Professional is integrated by two full range multipurpose speakers AMM108 and AMM112, and a companion subwoofer AMS115.
Bose Professional strengthens its offer of speakers for temporary use and permanent installations in various venues with the new multipurpose line AMM. This is integrated by full range speakers AMM108 and AMM112, and the complementary subwoofer AMS115,
AMM speakers, distributing Gaplasa, they have a two-way coaxial design and have been presented with great performance in their multiple options of use. Can be used as main speakers, Monitors, reinforcements or delays, in temporary configurations or permanent installations, as venues for musical events and auditoriums.
As they are designed to deliver maximum flexibility, AMM108 and AMM112 speakers can be used with a specific function in a system or to perform multiple functions in the same system.
The consistency of the sound of the current line of Bose AM array modules and Bose AMU utility speakers means that installers and system designers will be able to combine models from all three product lines, saving time when setting up a complete system.
Both the AMM108 and AMM112 offer a distinct advantage over other directional speaker designs: Bose's new patented Bose Beamwidth Matching Waveguide. This waveguide ensures original Bose sound quality, granting a frequency response, consistent clarity and projection across the coverage area.
Located just behind the grid, the waveguide seals the acoustic volume of the woofer and features a ventilation pattern that controls low-frequency dispersion, aligning the high and low frequency beam widths in the crossover. The result is symmetrical and broadband sound coverage, and a powerful audio experience, for both artists and audiences.
Subwoofer AMS115
In addition to offering a low frequency extension up to 35 Hz and a maximum peak level of 130 Db, the AMS115 complementary subwoofer features a 15-year-old neodymium transducer″, a lightweight housing and a pole mount option with integrated M20 thread.
This allows installers and system designers to combine an AMM108 speaker with the AMS115 for PA applications or the AMM112 speaker for reinforcement applications., or pair the AMM112 speaker with the ShowMatch SMS118 subwoofer for use in higher power extended bandwidth systems.
Pairing with Bose PowerMatch amplifiers and ControlSpace DSPs delivers optimal speaker performance and protection, as well as sound output consistent with AM and AMU models.
"Each speaker has a multi-position enclosure, various mounting options and an attractive acoustic package, providing maximum flexibility and practical ergonomics for use in a wide variety of audio environments. This versatility means that optimal performance is obtained when used as stage monitors., main speakers or reinforcements, as well as being compact and lightweight", comments Adam Shulman, Market Category Manager for Bose Professional Installed Sound.
