FiturTechy offers in Fitur 2021 the technological keys to reviving tourism
With the aim of boosting the tourism industry, FiturTechy 2021 starts today an intense program of technological solutions and innovations, with the 'hotel of the future’ as protagonist, in the framework of Fitur, which is held in face-to-face format in Ifema Madrid.
Intelligent capacity control systems, biometrics to facilitate payments, social robots that help employees and improve the customer experience and another waiter who welcomes attendees by making and serving ice cream, TV connected to the services of the hotel via IPTV and those of the client, a smart mattress and technology to create even safer spaces are some of the novelties that can be experienced in the "hotel of the future" in FiturTechy 2021, in the Hall 10B of Fitur, which opens its doors today until the 21 May in Ifema Madrid.
FiturTechy, the innovation section, Fitur technology and sustainability, organized in collaboration with the Hotel Technology Institute (ITH), celebrates its XIV edition in Ifema Madrid, in face-to-face format and with precise security measures for exhibitors and visitors (PCR test is required to access), with the motto “Special recovery tourism”.
In the intense program offered by FiturTechy 2021 of presentations and round tables with important representatives of the industry shows the vital importance of tourism and technological innovation for the reactivation of this market.
The Hotel of the Future
In the more than 2.000 m2 occupied this year FiturTechy, which was inaugurated today by the Minister of industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, together with the president of ITH, Javier Garcia Cuenca, the showroom of the 'hotel of the future' is located, where a simulation of a hotel room is made, with the latest technologies to make the traveler experience unique.
A robot waiter receives attendees making and serving ice cream and accompanies you for this experience. DAX Robotics has provided an automated bar in which a robot dispenses drinks and which can also be ordered from an application, among other possibilities.
Another novelty is the interactive table XTable developed by the audiovisual specialist DigaliX for tourism and catering, which features a tempered and liquid-resistant glass display with 4K resolution and NFC connectivity, Etc.
For the second year in a row, Morph Studio, makes the design of this futuristic hotel, that in this edition reinvents the space with a circular design, and interior design, MSC décor and comfort, with fabrics made from plastic bottles recovered from the seabed.
The hygiene and disinfection company Cleanity has deployed three of its solutions to help the hotels to ensure safe spaces for their customers, with mass hand san disinfection totems, surface disinfectant and odor neutralizers.
In addition, this space has a system of disinfection that facilitates protection, for six months,versus bacteria, covs, fungi and viruses by ultrasound nebulization, for all types of surfaces, along with an air purification system that allows in fifteen minutes to renew it, of BD Sky.
To enter this futuristic hotel, Chapp Solutions has contributed its auto checkin solution, with ID capture, facial recognition, Collections, Key delivery and Lean PMS, to offer the best quality of service to customers.
Also for access control and digital chekin is shown the solution of the Navarrese company, Veridas, specialist in biometrics for the verification of identities and systems applied to the tourism sector.
The company Hp returns to participate in FiturTechy with hotel news for the reception area, with the new mobile POS system and HP POS Engage Go, that makes it easier for the guests themselves to check in, while staff can use it and streamline the process by incorporating a DNI/Passport reader.
These systems support cleaning and disinfection with up to the 70% of alcohol, to ensure maximum security and prevent the spread of viruses, as well as protection against cyberattacks with HP SureClick software (optional).
Other companies present in this edition are Fluge Audiovisuals, specialists in the supply of professional technical sound equipment, lighting and video; Zennio, with its home automation systems and contactless technology for screens, KNX access control, Etc; and Cerium, that shows the possibilities of its IPTV platform to transform the television of the room into a content portal connected with all the services of the hotel, along with its HotSpot to boost direct sales in the establishment with promotions.
The Madrid company manufacturer social robots Future Lives returns to this space with its new range for hotels and restaurants, from those who can take orders at the table and serve them, up for disinfection, temperature control, Etc.
To this hotel are also added the proposals of Pikolin with ActivePick, a resting equipment articulated to the posture of the client's back, as well as the intelligent bathroom spaces through IoT of the firm Roca, or the smart pool of Fluidra and sustainable textile companies such as Resuinsa, Carmela Marti, along with Kaos Engineering, bicycle manufacturer that offers a turnkey service to hotels.
