With GO-Live, driven by ship weConnect, Insead has taken a distinctive approach to live virtual education.

Insead business school has launched GO-Live, a platform that helps executives continue their learning from anywhere in the world, using the virtual classroom solution Barco weConnect.

This step towards online training has been a logical progression for Insead. “We pioneered the adaptation of asynchronous virtual courses to a personalized corporate context”, explains Peter Zemsky, Dean, Dean of Innovation and Professor of Strategy and Innovation. “This is the time when virtual executive education gets underway”.

With GO-Live, powered by weConnect, this multicampus institution has adopted a distinctive approach to live virtual teaching, following two great principles.

The first focuses on the student. “You have to keep the student trained, active and committed so that you are immersed in the experience, as if in person”, says Zemsky. “The other key principle is to allow teachers to use their skills to create magic in the classroom from a face-to-face world to a live virtual environment.”.

Barco's solutions have been installed in four virtual classrooms and in a collaboration room.

“The education sector is embracing digital transformation right now. More forward-looking educational institutions are using it to drive engagement and deliver courses in a way that suits students' lives., meet your ever-increasing expectations and, which is more important, provide new and valuable sources of income to facilitate further growth", comment Jan van Houtte, vice president of barco's Teaching and Learning division.
