Samsung Smart Monitor range expands and gets smarter

The line of screens Samsung Smart Monitor features a new M7 model of 43 inches and three M5s of 24, 27 and 32 Inch.

Samsung Electronics has expanded its range Smart Monitor with new screen sizes and different designs, in addition to incorporating enhanced smart features. A model has been added to this range M7 with UHD resolution of 43 Inch (M70A), for productivity and an immersive entertainment experience; and the M5 with FHD resolution, on screens of 24, 27 and 32 Inch, with a white option.

The Samsung Smart Monitor range was launched in November 2020 (see more information at Digital AV) as an innovative concept of screens that fit all kinds of tasks and bring together a set of functions for companies, academics and working consumers, study and enjoy their leisure at home. These displays integrate multimedia and productivity applications, versatile connectivity and speakers. In addition, the M70A has a solar-charged remote control.

The Smart Monitor M70A is presented as a flagship model of the range and a 43 Inch, maximizing productivity and improving entertainment, in a frameless design.

With an ultra-high definition 4K display (UHD), the M7 of 43 inches can change functionality, moving from a workspace to a 4K entertainment center with built-in streaming apps, speakers and HDR10 capabilities to bring the most in every detail.

The Smart Monitor M5 line offers in three formats, in 24, 27 and 32 Inch. The last two are offered blank (M50A) that perfectly matches minimalist-inspired designs. For its part, the Full HD model of 24 inches becomes the most accessible Smart Monitor in terms of size and price. An ideal equipment for those who do not have space for a larger monitor or for those who are simply looking for a multifunctional monitor at a good price.

Along with new size and design options, Samsung also introduces a new range of features. On the one hand, Samsung TV Plus, offering a variety of content 100% free live and on demand without downloads or registration; as well as Universal Guide, showing content recommendations, according to the user's preferences and display patterns.

The voice assistant has been updated to enable others besides Bixby, like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The remote access feature will also be updated to "PC on screen" in June, allowing for simple and secure connectivity between the Smart Monitor and external computers to improve its use.

Like Samsung's previous Smart Monitor range, it offers numerous connectivity options for PCs and smartphones. Users can connect their personal mobile devices with just a tap, using Tap View, Mirroring or Apple AirPlay 2.

In addition, for a complete desktop experience using a mobile device, users can also connect to the monitor with Samsung DeX.
