Christie Spyder X80 helps captivate Phoenix Suns fans
The stadium of this basketball team has been, recently renovated, and in its lobby have been installed two curved Led screens 650 m2, whose content is managed by two processors Christie Spyder X80.

Stranger Production, company that specializes in broadcast processing and automation in the sports field, prescribed the processors Christie Spyder X80 to be in charge of taking the content to the Led murals that are located in the new area of the lobby.
Two personalized curved Led screens welcome fans to the stadium inside the renovated Phoenix Suns Arena pavilion. One measures 8 meters high by 61 long and the other one 8 meters high by 34 long. In total, Produce 64,8 millions of pixels. In addition, two Christie Spyder X80 processors have been installed (one used as the main processor and the other as part of a backup system) to deliver content to screens.
"The system is designed so that the Spyder X80 is the central processor of the Led screens of the pavilion. Video is sent from computers and media processors to the Spyder. The screen is completely customizable, including advertising, streams and pre-game content. In addition, you can overlay different types of content with the Spyder and synchronize it on the screens throughout the stadium", comments Eric Howell, owner of Stranger Production.
The system uses 12 of the 16 outputs available on the Spyder X80 and the 20 Tickets. "We're using a lot of pixels (spyder manages 64,8 millions of pixels) and there's still room for one more screen.", clarifies Howell.
Christie is also satisfied with the results of the project. "We are delighted that the Phoenix Suns have selected the Christie Spyder X80 to manage the content of their lobby screen.. This has a processing power of 80 megapixels and 4K support on all channels.
