Gesab and Arthur Holm bring their technology to the PMU conference room
This room of the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) It has high-end technical furniture and AV Gesab and Arthur Holm to improve decision-making.
Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Private University (PMU), located in the Saudi city of Al Khobar and built by Saudi Arabian investors, has trusted the integrator EnPro for the audiovisual and technical equipment of your conference room.
For this project, Gesab has custom designed the furniture for the conference room, with a large oval meeting table for 33 people. The relationship between the PMU and this company began thanks to the distributor Martin Pro ME and the integrator Enpro in this country, who have developed preliminary projects for the academic institution.
In fact, Gesab had already equipped the Security Operations Center with technical furniture and control consoles (SOC) of this university a little over a year ago.
The Conference VIP Lounge is the central space where the most important decisions of the organization are made. Considering the size of the institution's organizational chart and the growth of activities, This space required state-of-the-art technology to act quickly, Organized and paperless, but with all the useful information from each participant.
The main challenge of the project was to meet all technical expectations, functional and aesthetic of the client, who wanted a multifunctional space to develop small and large meetings, Presentations, videoconferencing, Etc.
Technology, Engineering & Design
As they point out from the company, “It is important to highlight when it comes to furniture that integrates a high technological volume, And even more so when that technology is going to move in and out of the furniture itself., such as retractable and foldable monitors from Arthur Holm and the retractable microphones of Televic, The engineering must be developed prior to the manufacture of what we finally call technical furniture”.
specifically, Each element must be positioned and considered in a model of 3D engineering that evaluates all functionalities, Movements, Connections and wiring and easy access for maintenance, but always watching the comfort, Usability and user performance.
To achieve this, Gesab worked as a consultant with the system integrator and distributor, helping the client to understand all the possibilities depending on the requirement and always taking into account the aesthetics.
This combination of high-quality materials, With technological engineering and design it has been achieved with the use of immersive 360º GIE VR presentations by Gesab, which were also made in the space itself in meetings with the PMU organizing team.
Control room
Although all the technological equipment of the room can be controlled from the head of the meeting table and each attendee has control over their personal space, Gesab proposed to have a small annex space for the control of all AV equipment during presentations or other events.
The complexity and dimensions of the project, Together with the technology that had to be managed, they were reasons enough to create a small control room of two operators., with control consoles Advantis NG Customized to monitor all equipment and applications (Screens, Microphones, contents, Voting and videoconferencing systems), ensuring that everything works perfectly and avoiding any problems in the VIP Lounge.
Diaphanous and organized space
One of the main objectives of the project was to create a paperless space in which, With the help of technology, Users could have all the information available by digital means, which also meant that their could be quantified, Organize and evaluate yourself on the fly.
All this required integration Retractable and foldable high-end monitors by Arthur Holm, as well as Microphones and voting systems of Televic at the large meeting table (the largest made so far by Gesab), with some additional features.
In this last aspect, Automatic tissue and water removal boxes have also been integrated into the table for each position (courtesy boxes), which adds an exclusive feature in the furniture, that now makes more sense when cleaning in all spaces is a priority.
Retractable monitors
In the living room, The main speaker has a monitor Dynamic3 by Arthur Holm, with an integrated retractable cable, that allows the connection of portable devices, keyboard and mouse. This team, that can be used vertically and horizontally, is completely flush with the surface of the table.
The keynote speaker space is flanked by two additional Dynamic3s to assist you during presentations. The rest of the attendees have monitors DB2, also equipped with motorized retractable cables.
Discreet and elegant, DB2 monitors occupy only 2 cm. on the surface of the table. In addition, the DynamicTalk have been customized, including voting and ID card reader.
The table is surrounded by armchairs equipped with DynamicChairDisplay, The only retractable motorized monitor on the market to integrate into armrests. In this way, Also the people seated there can comfortably view the multimedia contents of the meeting.
Arthur Holm allows the adjustment and configuration of all its motorized equipment through its app AHlink (iOS and Android), that automatically detects the equipment available for control and offers specific functionalities for each product.
AHlink allows you to obtain serial numbers, adjust the systems to the length of the microphones and set the mute function or define the color of the Led indicators in the case of DynamicTalk, Check internal motion sensors, Display commands AHnet and IP address, among others.
