Visual Productions DaliCore: smart lighting controller for Dali

The Dalicore controller of Visual Productions is especially suitable for hybrid installations where the Dali and DMX protocols coexist.

The Dutch manufacturer Visual Productions, brand that sells in the Spanish market SeeSound, has developed DaliCore, a smart lighting controller for Dali protocol, which also supports DMX devices, including communication bidirectional RDM.

With DaliCore, Visual Productions expands its presence in the architectural segment lighting, from start-up to daily monitoring of the installation. The web interface has a sophisticated tool to discover ballasts, assigning addresses, creating scenes, execute them or wait for external orders.

It also controls the DT6 and DT8 luminaires without problems, and works with other Dali elements, as sensors and switches. Although it is capable of performing conversions between DMX and Dali, the DaliCore controller offers integration both as if it were the same network.

Can be activated by DMX, UDP, OSC, dry contact closures, Etc. to call dali scenes using the internal regulation times of the luminaires, creating smooth cross fades.

It is also very easy to integrate this driver with devices from other brands, since it includes open protocols such as UDP, OSC, HTML, Art-Net and sACN that can be used to interact with other AV or lighting equipment.

Thanks to this it is also possible to extend the Dali system with the Visual Productions interfaces, how Kiosk and B-Station, or with powerful DMX lighting engines such as CueCore and LPU-2.

The GPI port has four dry contact closures, that can trigger any event within DaliCore, Configurable . as level 0-10V inputs for direct connections to sensors.
