SnapAV unifies its business and changes its name to Snap One
The change of name is also a strategy for the future, that shows a unified enterprise and includes the organizations inherited from SnapAV and Control4, after the merger two years ago.
The AV Professional Solutions Company, vigilance, control, Networking & Remote Management SnapAV Has Become Snap One. According to its general manager, John Heyman, The new name reflects the company's goal to be the best solution provider, services and platforms for custom facility integrators whose businesses have grown far beyond AV products.
“The name SnapAV no longer fully represents who we are or our aspirations for the future”, Heyman explains. “We kept the Snap name to make our members' lives easier. Snap One builds on this legacy and reinforces our aspiration to be the integrator's most valued and trusted partner. We want to have the broadest portfolio and best-in-class products; The only shopping experience that can be done online or in-store; and the only partner professionals can rely on to install and support the experiences their customers want”.
The new name also represents a unified enterprise that includes the legacy organizations of SnapAV and Control4 following the merger of 2019. “together, now as Snap One, The company can serve as the industry's central source for everything needed to succeed, today and in the future”, Heyman clarifies. “The name Snap One emphasizes our desire to be the single source for the solutions integrators need—including control- either with our own solutions or with third-party products.”
Later this year, Snap One will introduce a unified portal for integrators to research and purchase any product from one place. The company will also have a streamlined loyalty program. “Our goal has always been to deliver great, top-notch products and services that simplify the integrator's life and support their business. Our new platforms and services are designed to do that”.
The announcement of the company's new name comes on the heels of several major corporate developments, including the acquisition of network provider Access Networks and a significant investment in remote support solutions provider Parasol.
