Cross Space revolutionizes Tokyo with a huge 3D cat on its DOOH commercial screen
The 154,7 m2 of curved Led screen Cross Space, located in its building in Shinjuku Square (Japan), it now serves as a home for a cuddly and gigantic cat with a 3D effect, the result of a surprising commercial action that has had an impact worldwide.
The cat is not even sad, It's not even blue, now it's a giant feline with 3D effect that has surprised half the world from the curved commercial screen Cross Shinjuku Vision, with resolution 4K, of 154,7 m2 and pixel pitch 6 mm, of Cross Space, located outside Shinjuku Railway Station (Tokyo), whose influx was reflected with a Guinness record in 2018 for being the busiest in the world.
Cross Space commissioned the creation of this unique cat with a three-dimensional effect to technology companies MicroAd Digital Signage and Yunika for a commercial on the curved screen that occupies the rooftop of a three-story building in Cross Space, in which events are held and which he now promotes with this visual initiative.
This creative action DOOH has surprised worldwide, to the point of going viral, not because of the 3D effect or illusion that can be seen from a distance, in the corner of the curved screen, and that has been seen in other facilities -such as the Big Giant Wave created in South Korea by the also Korean Samsung and d'strict, or with the spaceship that is freed from a curved Led screen of Liantronics in Chengdu (China) analyzed by this newspaper-, but by the tenderness of their meows and yawns (thanks to the on-screen speakers), When you wake up and fall asleep, and that have captivated millions of people.
Specifically, This gigantic and tender feline has so far appeared on the commercial screen and in a video that has gone viral (with more than 4,8 million visits) only seventeen seconds.
The official broadcast of the announcement, that is being held today, 12 July, begins at 07:00h a.m., when the cat wakes up and does the same with the thousands of passers-by who are mostly going to take the train at that time, and with funny appearances in spaces between advertisements, to the 1:00h a.m. when with yawns and sleepy eyes he goes to sleep.
As pointed out in a statement by those responsible for Cross Space, “It's a calico cat, domestic, giant created in 3D with the quality of a successful cinematographic film that will provide surprises, tenderness, Laughter and 'healing'’ to users passing through the area”.
