ANA-Aeroportos de Portugal opts for ProDVX to know the opinion of its customers

The integrator Ésystems has developed a newsstand with touch screens ProDVX for ANA Aeroportos of Portugal, in order to improve the service it offers to users.

As an entity that manages airport facilities in the Portuguese country, ANA-Aeroportos de Portugal it is responsible for ten centres on the mainland and in the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira., which together received until the arrival of the pandemic more than sixty million visitors from all over the world.

In order to improve the services it offers in its facilities, specifically of the sanitary, one of ana's objectives was to know the opinion of customers regarding the use of these to work more efficiently and improve hygiene based on real figures.

The most effective response to know the satisfaction of users was through digital signage technology, for what the Portuguese integrator Ésystems developed a newsstand for customers to comment on airport health facilities: Was the bathroom clean? Was there enough toilet paper available? Are the bathrooms broken?

Thanks to this proposal, customers can give their opinion on their experience with airport facilities through ProDVX's touch screens, in particular the model APPC-15DSKP, with a size of 15.6″, equipped with Android and Power-over-Ethernet (Poe).

As he explains Fernando Carvalho, Ésistemas product manager, “APPC-15DSKP is a professional and robust tablet in which to trust these projects, designed for continuous use 24/7. As the airport is always open, we couldn't risk putting a household tablet on the kiosk, as they will probably break after two months, and this model is perfect”.

For this project, Ésistemas connected the information kiosk to a system that helped define the cleanliness of the facilities. Based on these actual figures, the cleaning company knows when to clean a toilet.

ANA Aeroportos de Portugal now works with a robust and personalized customer feedback kiosk in the sanitary facilities, with which it has improved the service it offers to its users, as well as the efficiency of cleaners.
