Navori StiX 3700: Android 4K player for digital signage applications
The Android digital signage player Navori StiX 3700 offers dynamic 4K content with broadcast quality to 60 Fps. In addition, improves viewing experiences with multimedia transitions across all screens.
Navori Labs has presented the StiX 3700, your new Android digital signage player, providing an almost immediate return on investment at half the price of most media players. It is an ideal complement to multimedia media player software, such as System-on-Chip solutions (Soc), that lack the advanced features and versatility of hardware equipment.
As successor to the StiX 3500, offers high performance and retains its main advantages in terms of size, maintenance and feature set. However, adds broadcast-quality 4K rendering to 60 frames per second and improves viewing experiences with multimedia transitions across all screens.
“The preferred screen resolution in digital signage is 4K, so it was the right time for a new version of our compact media player, bringing more sophisticated, high-quality rendering quality to digital signage content”, explains Jerome Moeri, CEO of Navori Labs.
In addition, Moeri explains the advantages of this equipment. “Delivers the power needed for continuous, professional-level use, adds power-saving display control features and includes a common feature set with a fully harmonized experience across all displays on the network.”
Features and advantages
The StiX 3700 includes remote control of the screens using the HDMI-CEC functionality. When entering schedules, software Navori QL automates all on/off control functions, simplifying management tasks and facilitating the on and off of screens at different times of the day.
Users can install third-party applications such as TeamViewer or VNC for remote control, thanks to its easy-to-use Android operating system.
This player incorporates professional software Navori QL Player, unlike most external media players of its kind that are limited by basic software applications. It's preloaded and ready to use, allowing users to start with their projects as soon as they turn on the device and log in.
The StiX 3700 can also be activated prior to deployment, so it is ready for use once the screen is installed. Plug-and-play dongle works seamlessly on any screen size, orientation and branding, which simplifies system management in multiscreen digital signage networks.
It is extremely versatile, whether used as the primary player on a display or to complement built-in SoC players that lack certain capabilities. this includes support for wireless and wired connections for any network environment, and its Android operating system accepts the security certificates required by many corporate IT organizations.
Maintenance is virtually non-existent and users can replace dongles without having to uninstall or change screens.
The StiX 3700 it is also interoperable with touch screens, sensors, physical buttons and external speakers via USB or Bluetooth. Offers up to 1Tb of content storage through its micro SD card slot (vs. 8-16Gb of standard SoC storage), and works with 4G and 5G USB-enabled modems.
