Patton FPX6000

Fruit of the agreement signed a year ago with Audinate is the series Patton FPX6000, the first solutions that incorporate Dante AV, a technology that offers power, flexibility and reliability for audio/video over IP networks.

Patton FPX6000 is the first series of encoders and decoders with technology Audinate Dante AV. These new solutions reach the market one year after the agreement signed between the companies to be the first to adopt their technology.

Dante AV is a network-specific technology that integrates the transmission of high-quality audio signals and 4K video over 1Gbps IP networks, with virtually zero latency.

The FPX6000 series of encoders and decoders allow the IP network connection of the ecosystem of AV products such as cameras or monitors. They are characterized by easy installation and use, thanks to the Dante controller, which makes routing, control and monitoring of audio and video traffic, and endpoints are as simple as pressing a button.

Patton FPX6000 series equipment allows insertion 8 audio channels (transmit or receive) and a video channel with HDCP encryption support on an existing Ethernet backbone, without suffering performance issues or management difficulties associated with audio and video over IP.

Dante's audio and video synchronization eliminates alignment issues, by having a single network clock for the entire system, reduces harmonic distortion and phase caused by fluctuation. It also supports mixed networks and ensures that audio and video relays have sufficient bandwidth even on a standard Ethernet network.

In addition to providing high-performance audio and video, FPX6000 devices have peripheral connectivity options that include USB 2.0 and USB OTG for keyboard and mouse, infrared for remote controls, and even serial signals for PTZ control.
