NYCU University is committed to hybrid education with Arec
To promote hybrid education, the classrooms of the university NYCU have been equipped with a CI-Z1H camera and two CI-T21H PTZ of Arec.
in 2021, two universities in Taiwan were officially merged to become the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). To promote cross-campus courses and encourage hybrid education, this entity has acquired devices from Arec, brand that distributes AVIT Vision, to build several interactive remote classrooms and bet on hybrid education. Even if the teacher and students are on different campuses, can teach and learn online at the same time.
Classrooms prepared for hybrid education are equipped with a camera CI-Z1H, that allows you to capture images from an ultra wide angle; and two auto-tracking PTZ cameras CI-T21H, that are used to follow the teacher and students.
All cameras are connected to the Arec media station, where they are mixed and displayed simultaneously to remote students.
With arec media station and its cameras, students can clearly see multiple channels, including presentation slides, the close-up of the lecturer and even the wide-angle view of the classroom.
In class, if students want to talk, can turn on the microphone. After, the CI-T21H camera will automatically follow the speaker. At the same time, the other camera, of the same model, will not be affected and will be able to accurately follow a moving speaker.
With interactive and real-time conditions, the teacher and students appear to be in the same class. After class, students can also watch the videos to review.
Arec devices can be integrated into the control panel. Teachers can change the mode according to their needs. This makes distance learning more effective.
