RCF takes a step further in portable professional sound with the NX series 9

Three new speaker models make up the NX series 9 of Rcf, which have custom-designed transducers to adapt to each tour and temporary installations.

The Italian audio manufacturer Rcf combines in its new series NX 9 of custom-designed portable sound systems transducers, a waveguide of constant directivity, processing FiRphase, new algorithms Bass Motion Control and an amplifier of 2100 Class D W.

The NX9 series consists of three models with bass speakers, ranging from 10 inches at 15″ and have as a common feature with the same amplifier of 2100 W.

The model NX 915 is the largest and most powerful in the series, with a sound pressure level of 131 Db, capable of offering a stable response in low frequencies up to 45 hz. Models NX 912 and NX 910 can reach 130 dB of sound pressure level, with an optimal power ratio

All NX Series Systems 9 are prepared to withstand the harshness of touring, with high-level audio performance and versatility for any professional audio application.

With a 50% more power than previous models, the NX model 915 can handle extremely high sound pressure levels. The amplifier has a great energy efficiency, so you don't need a fan for cooling.

The circuit is coupled to an aluminum heat sink on the back of the unit and has no moving parts. Improved performance with the new compression motor -1.75″ with polyimide-kapton dome-, which presents a new technology of union and reinforced ribs, ten times more durable than previous models, according to the manufacturer.

Combination of specifically designed bass speakers with a constant directivity waveguide provides uniform coverage in the listening area.

These components work in harmony with two RCF-exclusive DSP algorithms., one for phase linearization and frequency divider design, and another for the management of the excursion of the bass speaker.

FiRphase, advanced FiR technology, allows uniform sound distribution, no phase distortions, and guarantees minimum latencies in the system. As a result,, along with the new design and placement of tuning ports, the speaker now acts as a single source to output a real sound image.

The Bass Motion Control method, responsible for the management of the excursion of the bass speaker, works by creating a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the transducer to generate a custom algorithm that limits only over-excursions.

This offers total freedom in signal reproduction, avoiding high-pass filters and broadband limiters. The speaker can play the input signal at all volume levels and across the audible volume spectrum, which keeps the musical details, along with a deep and detailed bass response.

The black box of the series is made of high-strength wood, covered with a sturdy layer of black polyurea paint. The speaker is easy to move and carry thanks to its ergonomic handles, located on the sides.

The bottom includes a steel receptacle for mounting on a tripod or subwoofer mast. All models can also be hung, mount on the wall or on a crossbar using multiple M10 anchor points and special accessories.
