Developed with Google Workspace and the result of their strategic partnership, Avocor has introduced the new all-in-one video conferencing devices: Google Meet Series One Desk 27 and Board 65.
One more step in personal and team collaboration in meetings, both in face-to-face and distance format, is what it offers Avocor with the devices Google Meet Series One Desk 27 and Board 65, developed with Google Workspace, that combine video conferencing and digital whiteboard.
In response to the proliferation of video-based communication, Avocor, along with Google Workspace, delivers more equitable gathering experiences through human-centric hardware, for both personal and group applications, which gives priority to giving everyone an equal seat at the table, with means to collaborate in any situation and space, from the desk to the conference room.
Google Meet Series One Desk 27
Hybrid work requires more immersive and interactive video-capable devices to make meetings more inclusive, for both office and remote colleagues, since the 94% of organizations are now more flexible as to where and when employees work (according to the data of 2021 of the consultant Gartner).
To address the need for a more powerful personal collaboration tool on the desktop, Avocor and Google Workspace created Series One Desk 27, a device of 27″ with Google Meet touchscreen, which is also a desktop monitor, a docking station for laptops and a digital whiteboard that integrates the popular app Jamboard.
This device is ideal for personal jobs – including home offices and as a powerful shared tool in the hot desks rotary-; in private spaces and cabins.
Series One Desk 27 offers all the key features users need to view, listen and contribute to any meeting as if they were together in the same room.
Designed with a built-in soundbar and microphone array for crystal-clear video and audio TrueVoice, Google Workspace's multi-channel noise cancellation technology that detects and removes distracting sounds, while improving the capture and clarity of the human voice, even in noisy environments.
To ensure it's easy to use and write, Desk 27 it is delivered with an adjustable table stand and can also be mounted on the wall.
Requires only Ethernet power, and has a USB-C port to make it easier to connect to a laptop, which reduces the cable clutter that is usually needed for power, video and audio.
Once connected to a laptop, users can easily access all their files and applications in Desk 27, including everything in Google Workspace.
Although it is optimized for Google Meet, the user can also run any video meeting application by leveraging the audio and video experience with the touch screen, PTZ Digital Camera and Desk Soundbar 27.
To start a meeting just touch the calendar, which can be the user's staff or the room's resources staff, or just say: 'Hey Google, join the meeting’, effortless and fully accessible for the fairness of meetings at the desk.
Google Meet Series One Board 65
While Desk 27 is a personal collaboration device, Board 65 is designed to bring teams together for more efficient collaboration, equitable and intuitive.
With a 65 interactive touch screen″, wall-mountable in small or medium-sized collaboration spaces and ADA compliant. It is also possible to place it on an optional stand for mobility as a shared resource or to organize spontaneous meetings anywhere.
Board 65 seamlessly connects both face-to-face and remote meeting platforms, allowing everyone present in the room or on a call to see, hear and contribute to meetings, the sessions of brainstorming and the improvised Huddle alike.
Meeting participants can also quickly connect their laptops via USB-C for power, control your device and share content instantly.
This system also includes features that support more efficient collaboration., including the same TrueVoice audio experience as Desk 27; an integrated digital PTZ camera that offers a wide field of view to automatically frame participants (using Google Workspace continuous framing technology); support for voice-activated controls with 'Hey Google’, and native integration with Jamboard.
Just like Desk 27, a simple tap with your finger or the stylus included in the on-screen calendar are enough to instantly launch Google Meet.
