So i Art Prat bets on the audio of Electro-Voice and Dynacord for its events

To cover events of different formats, the specialist So i Art Prat has strengthened its team Electro-Voice and Dynacord, hand in hand with Acson, with a complete line array X2 system.

In order to expand your audio equipment and face demanding events, like the Festival d'Estiu in the Camp de Mart de Tarragona and in the concerts of the festival of Andorra la Vella, So i Art Prat you have purchased a system X2 de Electro-Voice.

Ramon Sendra, regular collaborator of So i Art Prat, has been the technician chosen to support the production team and responsible for the design and adjustments of the system for large events.

The X2 system of Electro-Voice is formed by boxes of 2 bi-amplified pathways, designed in a trapezoidal shape. With a power of 500W / 150W they have protection IP55 outdoor use, and is completed with units of subwoofers X12-128 with two 18" speakers 2.000 Wrms each.

One of the reasons for the choice of the X2 for So i ART Prat was its versatility. The challenge in post-pandemic concerts is that there is less audience in a very large space., which makes us reconsider the entire acoustic design of the event.

"The equipment performs well in a configuration of four boxes on each side of the stage., it is exceeded when there are eight and they are tremendously attractive when ten are chosen, explains Sendra.. In all cases, the system keeps his personality intact and never leaves indifferent".

In the concerts of the festival of Andorra was opted for a configuration of ten boxes per side, eight of them of 90º and two less than 120º.

Up to twelve X12-128 subwoofers were also placed in electronic arc. For the frontfill four boxes were used XLD281 in triamplification.

Sound control, located at 25 meters from the stage, Offered 120 db of constant sound pressure, taking into account the large dimensions of the space, with measurements of 3db in the first row and 5 db in the last.
