Arec LS-US2: All-in-one Media Station for recording and streaming

The compact Media Station Arec LS-US2 supports capturing two Full HD sources (USB and network), as well as switching, mixture, recording and live streaming, to produce a creative video easily.

The brand represented by AVIT Vision, Arec, has presented the new Media Station LS-US2. A compact all-in-one for capture, mixture, commutation, live recording and streaming of up to two Full HD video sources.

Its design makes it easier for teachers and /or presenters to create and broadcast a high-quality lecture or training video over the Internet.

This Media Station supports capturing two Full HD video sources, switching, mixture, simultaneous recording and live streaming, so that non-technical users can produce a creative video easily and efficiently.

Arec LS-US2 is compatible with RTMP-based platforms and is capable of transmitting a video that combines two signals and up to two platforms simultaneously, as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Wowza, and other CDNs directly, from the drive.

At the touch of a button, mixes signals from USB (UVC), RJ-45 LAN network port and streaming along with USB audio (UAC), to create a joint video with the two signals. It also creates two more additional videos with individual recordings for each input signal.

Although the entrances of the Arec LS-US2 Media Station are USB and RJ-45, the unit includes an HDMI to USB dongle (UVC) that allows video input from HDMI sources, such as computers and interactive whiteboards.

With this equipment, users can switch and merge between sources, add or remove logos, funds, overlay graphics and subtitles to create your own personalized and professional presentation video.

The Arec LS-US2 has numerous control options, as the Arec Online Director web interface, the interactive graphical user interface (GUI) and the Mini Controller web interface for mobile devices. It is also compatible with Arec's free software, such as the Online Director and Station Manager app.

Arec also provides an APK for additional integration with flat interactive displays.

With the built-in Video Manager, administrators or teachers can manage videos stored on the local LS-US2 Media Station remotely. You can download, upload or delete video files and edit video metadata. Integrates with Panopto platforms, Kaltura and Opencast.

You can also record and save videos to a connected USB storage. Supports automatic backup and upload of recordings after completion to Arec MediaCenter servers, FTP and SFTP, and can use NAS for storage
