Extron IPL Pro CR88

The two new modules extend the support of ClearOne BMA 360 to IP Link Pro control systems, the Media Link Plus series, Hc 400 and TLS Pro Extron.

ClearOne BMA 360 Extron and AMXIf a few months ago, ClearOne developed a camera control module for Crestron control systems, operational with the equipment BMA 360 and the system Unite 200 (see more at Digital AV), now this functionality has been extended to the control systems of Extron.

The two new modules also work with the Unite system 200 or any other PTZ camera (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) installed in the meeting room or space that complies with the Visca control protocol.

New modules are designed for use with the control processor series IP Link Pro by Extron, the series of controllers Media Link Plus, Hc 400 and TLS Pro.

These simplify the configuration of the BMA camera control function 360 and have an easy-to-use graphical interface that associates the camera's PTZ presets with BMA beam reports 360.

ClearOne bma 360When a local interlocutor activates a certain beam in the BMA 360, control modules retrieve the associated PTZ preset in the camera. They also incorporate a 'non-active beam' detection function that can return the camera to the 'start' position after a period of voice inactivity..

formerly, ClearOne provided sample code and command documentation to help Extron programmers create their own custom camera control modules. Although this offered maximum flexibility, a pre-programmed solution was needed to cover most camera tracking applications.

The new module is an implementation designed to control up to two PTZ cameras per Extron module.
Multiple instances can be configured to control more than two cameras. This new module will save a significant amount of time and labor costs for BMA camera control applications 360.
