PRG supplies Led modules to the UK Pavilion at Expo Dubai

Artificial Intelligence and Led modules, provided by Prg, mark the innovative design of the UK Pavilion at Expo Dubai. Un edificio en el que se ofrece “Poesía en constante movimiento”.

The first universal exhibition to be held in the Middle East, Expo Dubai 2020, officially opened its doors in the past 1 October, showcasing architectural marvels and technological innovations from more than 192 Countries.

La contribución de Reino Unido a la Expo Dubai 2020 is its pavilion with a cone shape and circular façade, created by the world-renowned designer Es Devlin. The Led façade of 25 meters high is integrated into a wooden structure that celebrates global cultural diversity and collaboration.

The UK Pavilion uses an Artificial Intelligence learning algorithm, developed in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture, which allows visitors to add a word to a 'Humanity's Collective Message to the Universe'. This varies continuously and is shown in the Led modules.

PRG has been in charge of carrying out the engineering of the 2.000 custom tiles through your PRG Projects team, acquiring custom Led technology through its subsidiary in China; while the immersive audio system has been made by Polyphonia. This message of collaboration and international openness is reflected in the realization of the project. The UK Pavilion is a true global collaboration: designed in collaboration with Avantgarde (with the help of the structural engineer Atelier One and with the support and execution of International Peak), delivered by prG global network experts and executed on-site by Dubai PRG team.
