Part of this project at the Olympiahalle has been the replacement of the old projection systems, that no longer meet the current requirements for resolution, Brightness and contrast, with the Led visual technology large format Infiled.

For a few months now, the Olympiahalle offers its visitors a viewing angle and image quality for every event with seven large Led screens that the service provider has integrated LedCon Systems, supplied by Exertis Pro AV Germany.

In total, the following have been deployed: 190 square meters of Led panels to replace projection systems. The venue thus has seven LED screens, each with dimensions of 7.2×4 metre, with pixel pitch 3,1 mm and a resolution of 2.304×1.296 Pixels.

The visibility of the entire installation is complemented by two LED screens located behind the seats, at the East and West entrances of the interior area, each of 3.6×2,0 metre, pixel pitch 2,3 mm and 1.536×864 Pixels resolution.

The challenges of this project in the Olympic Pavilion were the small depth of construction, the low total weight of the Led screens to be integrated, as well as the requirements for the protection of historical monuments.

The seven LED panels are located behind and above the last rows of spectators in the arena, so accessibility and safety distance had to be determined during planning and installation. Another key point was the weight of the screens, that could not exceed a certain value, since the integration was carried out in the existing spaces, mounted on the projection surfaces.
