Infiled brings visual creativity to the Finland Pavilion at the Expo 2020 dubai

For the Finland Pavilion in the expo 2020 dubai, JKMM Architects has hired DXB Live for the configuration and integration of two curved Led screens Infiled DB3.4 mm, which have a total size of 104 square meters.

Technology is a key element in the Filandia Pavilion in the expo 2020 dubai. If the prominence of sound has been in charge of Genelec (more information at Digital AV), the visual creativity has been reflected in two curved Led screens of 104 square meters Infiled DB3.4 mm.

The Expo 2020, organized by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, has begun and continues the long tradition of these events: showcase the greatest innovations and technological advances that have shaped the world we live in. This year, the event will last 182 days and has 192 country pavilions, each located in different districts.

It is organized to connect people from different parts of the world, experience the culture, art, technology and innovation, and sharing ideas on global issues.

Infiled and DXB Live worked closely together to create a state-of-the-art curved LED solution that fits the theme, the technical specifications and overall design of the Finland Pavilion.

For the realization of this project, JKMM Architects contracted DXB Live for the configuration and integration of two Curved Led Screens Infiled DB3.4 mm with a total size of 104 square meters.

"To achieve and guarantee the perfect curve, our R&D team customized the standard DB cabinets at eight different bend angles, including hanging bars", Explains Samer Otaibi, Regional Sales Manager, Infiled Middle East. "Creative installations are in our DNA and we are delighted to see the result and be part of this impressive project among others at Expo 2020".

One of the main challenges was that the screens had to be hung from bars and for this a lightweight product was required without compromising its quality and robustness.. "The DB series is easy to install and features exclusive black LEDs that offer vivid colors., high contrast and image quality. We are very proud of this project, that will impress thousands of visitors in the coming months", adds Samer Otaibi.

Finland Pavilion

Located in the Mobility District, the Finland Pavilion offers a Nordic oasis of clarity and serenity. The main theme of snow Cape and Finland's participation in the Expo 2020 dubai is ‘Sharing the happiness of the future’.

This deep connection is the origin of Finland's quality of daily life and its pavilion communicates this happiness by taking visitors on a journey through Finland's key strengths.; nature and sustainability, education and know-how and functionality and well-being.

The Finland pavilion was designed by a working group, consisting of Expomobilia, JKMM Architects, Beyond Limits, Factornova and FiveCurrents. The concept, the planning and execution have been in charge of JKMM Architects (Finland) and Expomobilia AG (Zurich, Switzerland).
