Al Wasl Plaza Pavilion Dome Offers Spectacular Visuals with Christie D4K40-RGB
To illuminate the giant dome of the Al Wasl Plaza Pavilion, as well as the rest of the visual experiences of the expo 2020 dubai have been installed 252 pure laser projectors from Christie D4K40-RGB .
the expo 2020 dubai has already received more than three million visitors from 185 different nationalities, a figure that almost reaches that of the number of countries with flags, 192. Christie's technology, official partner of projection and display of the Expo, was selected to show content and offer spectacular experiences throughout the venue. Creative Technology Middle East has been the AV integrator in charge of the dome of the Al Wasl Plaza Pavilion, heart of the sample.
The opening ceremony of the event featured a spectacular immersive show of 90 minutes in the dome of Al Wasl Plaza, considered the largest 360º projection area in the world. For this staging has been counted on 252 laser projectors Christie D4K40-RGB.
The projectors were launching images, visible from inside and outside, on a projection surface of 130 meters wide.
Throughout the design process, supply and installation involved local integrator Creative Technology Middle East, that encapsulated the projectors within the inner perimeter of the dome.

With more than 200 pavilions to be explored by its visitors, the Expo 2020 Dubai will remain open until 31 March 2022. In addition to the visit to the pavilions, the Expo organizes a large number of activities, such as discussion tables or cultural events.
