Quintoelemento restaurant creates a spectacular Led experience with Visualmax

The new business commitment of the Kapital group, the restaurant Quintoelemento, proposes a gastronomic and visual experience based on a retractable Led screen vault of 151.126 m2. For its development it has had the technology of Visualmax.

The mythical building on Atocha Street, the Kapital Theatre, has renovated its last two floors to turn them into Fifth element, the new business commitment of the Kapital group. A spectacular restaurant, opened last October, that proposes an immersive gastronomic and audiovisual experience, thanks to the installation of interactive Led screens that replace the ceiling and walls of the space.

To carry out this project, Teatro Kapital has placed its trust in Visualmax Producciones. A retractable Led screen vault has been built, in five sections, four of them mobile and one fixed that, overlapping each other, two to the right and two to the left, manage to leave the restaurant exposed to contemplate the sky of Madrid.

With a pixel of 4 Mm, has been made to measure, with a size of 18.43×8,2 metre (151.126 square meters in total). When the sections are joined together, the feeling is of single screen and continuous image.

1,024 modules were designed and manufactured×1.024 Mm, with an angle of 12,75 Degrees, so that the chassis and the movable roof support had the same curvature. Another aspect that draws attention is that it is able to exceed 4K resolution (4.864×2.048 Pixels), projecting perfect visuals.
