Panasonic LZ2000

Available at 55, 65 and 77 Inch, OLED TV Panasonic LZ2000 allows to optimize the image based on the temperature of the ambient light. Incorporates an Auto AI mode and greater compatibility with external devices.

Panasonic has presented in ESC 2022, which is being held in Las Vegas (United States), the TV that will be this year's flagship, the OLED model LZ2000, which will be available in 55, 65 and 77 Inch.

A device that offers high color accuracy and calibration, as well as image and sound quality regardless of the type of content displayed, through the optimization of the most subtle details, according to the color temperature of the ambient light and an Artificial Intelligence system (AI) more accurate for automatic content type detection.

The complete overhaul of the front speakers opens up a new usability that allows sounds to be accurately directed within a room.

Optimal image at any time of the day

The LZ2000 TV uses advanced sensors to detect the color temperature of ambient light and adjusts the image in detail to offer a more natural experience at any time of the day.

This new feature is based on Panasonic's Auto AI mode, introduced last year, that uses Artificial Intelligence to identify in real time the content that is being played in order to automatically optimize the quality of image and sound. This also improves the user experience, that you don't have to change settings every time you view a different content type.

To optimize content based on the time of day of viewing, The LZ2000 uses a sensor to detect the color temperature of ambient light. This is important, as users perceive 'white' differently depending on the ambient lighting.

The new sensor works together with the processor HCX Pro AI to adjust each tone individually in the most realistic way based on ambient light, offering a comfortable night viewing experience. This chip works intelligently and nuancedly, preserving the colors with which the human eye is familiar, such as skin tones, to ensure a natural image.

For its part, Auto AI mode also automatically detects the type of content and automatically optimizes image and sound quality.

All these features are designed to ensure an optimal viewing experience without the need for additional manual adjustment by the user., although it can be done manually.

Three formats

The LZ2000 TV will be available in 55, 65 and 77 Inch. At this size, the company calls it 'Master OLED Pro – Cinema size', for its performance and the experience it manages to generate. The entire series uses this configuration, which has been designed to deliver even more brightness through improvements in image quality processing.

The result is another qualitative leap with medium brightness levels, delivering more impactful HDR and improving accuracy in reproducing details in brighter areas.

The LZ2000 supports a wide range of HDR formats, Including Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Vision, Filmmaker Mode, HDR10+ Adaptive and HLG Photo, the still image format that brings still photography into the HDR world.

Audio enhancements

This equipment introduces as a novelty the directional sound in addition to the 360° soundscape audio system of Panasonic, capable of delivering immersive Dolby Atmos experiences.

The different integrated up-firing speaker units, side and front produce a spatial sound stage with Dolby Atmos content.

This year, Panasonic has reviewed the front-firing speaker system, replacing them with matrix speakers (multiple teams arranged in a row) that run the entire length of the TV behind the front speaker grille.

These matrix speakers offer a wider soundstage and more accurate and clear audio, allowing for directional sound. With an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface, the LZ2000 allows you to adjust the volume of the audio in different parts of the room.

Incorporates three modalities: Pinpoint mode, that allows sound to be directed to a specific point; Area Mode, that allows you to direct the sound to a group of people in a specific area of the room; and Spot mode, that increases the volume in one place while the rest can continue to hear the sound at a normal pitch.
