Panasonic brings its projection technology to the Area15 space in Las Vegas

The collaboration agreement of Panasonic with Area15, with a duration of five years, has started with the supply of fourteen 4K DLP Solid Shine laser projectors from 3 chips for an immersive live event space.

Located near Las Vegas Strip, Area15 is the new arts and entertainment district with which the division Panasonic Systems Solutions North America has signed an agreement, which was announced in ESC 2022, to provide software development over the next five years, engineering, design of projection and equipment and support to the thematic experiences offered there.

Area15 is already using laser projectors 4K DLP Solid Shine by 3 Chips Panasonic PT-RQ35KU (each with a power of 30.000 Lumens) for your multipurpose space for live events, called The Portal (more data in Digital AV).

PT-RQ35KU is the smallest and lightest 4K projector in its class to date and the latest addition to the wide range of laser equipment already in use., of those that have been installed, stacked and calibrated fourteen models so far to simplify workflows, reducing logistics and assembly problems.

Panasonic had previously announced a partnership with Area15 in the spring of 2021, when their first projectors were installed in The Portal for the Van Gogh Experience.
