The Parliament of Galicia renews its A/V system with Spica and Albalá equipment

The audio and video specialist Spica has had the modular infrastructure of Albalá Engineers to renew the video production and distribution systems of the Parliament of Galicia, along with 4K cameras from Panasonic and 3G-SDI networks to operate in Full HD resolution.

The project to improve the catchment system, video management and distribution, as well as the network infrastructure in the Parliament of Galicia is based on a model based on 3G-SDI networks to operate at a maximum Full HD resolution, with a solution of Spica that was added to the rules proposed by the contest.

To this end, the deployment of a 12G-SDI network has been carried out., the installation of Panasonic 4K cameras, the AV content management platform and videoacts Seneca FX, with teams of Albalá Engineers to cover the different recorders of the latter.

specifically, the Parliament of Galicia has PTZ cameras of the model AW-UE150 4K 50p panasonic, with their respective controllers, which have 20x optical zoom and iZoom, with the 4K switch for live events AV-UHS500. To this is added an ip conferencing system Dicentis of Bosch, with a selection of Albalá products, Nevion and AVP.

Another novelty of the Spica project has been to provide a permanent and direct connection with Spanish Television and the Galician Television. From the camera control room three signals are generated that are sent to these broadcasters: one already produced, another with the interpretation of sign language and a third of reservation, so that they can integrate these signals into their programming directly.

The equipment provides coverage in the day to day of the institution and are used in all the events organized in the Parliament of Galicia: Full, commissions, commemorative events, Etc. Among its main functions are to cover the different recorders of the Seneca FX platform, for the ingestion of 1080P 3G-SDI signals with lattice/untangled audio in the HAE3000C01 modules and HAD300C01, as well as feeding several fiber links from different media.

Other Albalá modules used within the facilities are the double distributors of 3G/HD/SD-SDI signal, with a six-output input and front optical I/O with optional SFP modules of the model HVD3001C01, in addition to the modules EOP0020C01 for the transport of audio and video signals, and HTG3001C01 for the generation of synchronism signals of all the elements involved in the video production.

Devices from the series are also used CrossConnect HVM0002C01 both in the realization control and in the Plenary Hall to support different monitors and RF modules.
