Audac develops vexo speaker series for installation
With a power of up to 1.000 watts on the largest model, the new Vexo series of Audac, consists of six teams, available in both active and passive versions, for application in fixed installations and sports venues.
The Belgian professional audio manufacturer Audac has presented its Vexo series, composed of models Vexo110, Vexo112 and Vexo115 , available in both active and passive versions, with a total of six speakers.
The low-frequency transducer, made with high quality materials, is combined with a 1.7" moving coil compression driver, allowing high sound pressure levels and a tight driver response, with a 90°x70° rotating coverage pattern for a wide range of applications. Passive variants have line transformer modules 70/100 Optional V.
Thanks to the unique composition of the transducers, Vexo110 speaker achieves program power 600 Watts (300 W RMS); which in the case of Vexo112 is located in 800 Watts (400 W RMS), while the larger variant as standard, Vexi115, reaches the 1.000 Watts (500 W RMS).
When not in use, active versions of audac vexo series speakers automatically switch to standby mode to save power, a particularly advantageous feature in fixed installations, as it is not necessary to physically turn them off after each use.
Impact resistance is guaranteed thanks to the cabinet design, made of plywood 12 Mm, with a polyurethane coating and a top surface DuraCoat. The front has a steel grille, with dust-repellent coating and acoustic foam, impact-proof also for fixed installations and indoor sports venues.
The Vexo series offers a wide variety of mounting possibilities, they already include as standard an adapter for pole of 35 mm and a large number of fixing points and hole patterns, compatible with brackets and installation accessories.
Support in Or Clever Audac's optional allows the two-way box to be mounted both horizontally and vertically, added to its tilt from -90° to +35° for optimal speaker positioning. This optional MBK bracket even allows you to mount the equipment on the ceiling, which offers the opportunity to install the speaker cleanly in any environment.
The active variant of the Vexo series has numerous inputs. When installing the audio network interface ANI44XT Dante on the active speaker, can be integrated into any Dante-enabled AV network and transfer digital audio with any compatible solution on the market.
These active versions of the Vexo series also feature the exclusive WaveDynamics technology, that allows you to load any preset for full-range configurations, satellite and custom via the USB slot on the back.
In addition, the Audac Touch all-in-one system control app offers the ability to perform full equalization and for the user to set their own presets. The installation of this exclusive ANI44XT ensures that the Vexo series is also TouchLink compatible and allows the creation of virtual zones by linking several speakers.
