Varona Producción bets on Prolights Astra Wash19Pix lights for its events

The Cantabrian company Varona Production looking for a multipurpose wash light to use in different applications, as the Oviedo Opera or for live productions. The choice was the acquisition of 24 Prolights Astra Wash19Pix.

The Spanish audiovisual company Varona Technical Production has recently invested in 24 Lights Prolights Astra Wash19Pix which will be supplied directly to the Oviedo Opera “Adriana Lecouvrer“, and other events that will be held throughout Spain.

The Santander-based company was looking for a multipurpose wash light that could be used in different applications such as opera or live productions.

“Conocimos el Astra Wash19Pix a través de Seesound, distributor of Prolights in Spain, y desde el principio nos impresionó”, Explains Marcos Varona Ferrer, GENERAL DIRECTOR of Varona Producciones. “Nos gustó la versatilidad de estas unidades, with which we can create a classic looking tungsten wash, pero cambiarlo fácilmente por complejos efectos de píxeles”.

The Astra Wash19Pix is one of the latest moving washes from Prolights, and includes 19 40W RGBW Led units Osram and an external pixel ring. It has a zoom range between 4 and 54º and a completely new optical system that improves light output while avoiding dust deposits and scratches.
