Arec helps achieve a hybrid school model in Latvia
To record and transmit class content and signal from PTZ cameras, the Valsts School of Management uses the LS-300 media station Arec and its A-TS01 screen for solution management.
The solutions to capture the classes taught, interactive displays and professional PTZ cameras improve the quality and intelligibility of hybrid education. To this end,, the Valsts School of Management in Latvia has chosen the solutions of Arec.
Known as Valsts administrācijas skola, this is the largest training center for employees of the Latvian Public Administration and prepares some 12.000 professionals for the public sector every year. The school combines classical and modern teaching methods: offers traditional classes, but also interactive online courses. All this to offer the best possible learning experience to your students.
In addition to developing an optimal curriculum, a school also needs professional learning tools and technologies. Class capture products, interactive displays and professional PTZ cameras improve the quality and intelligibility of hybrid education. To respond to these needs and improve digital courses, the school chose Arec's media capture system, brand that distributes Avit Vision.
To record and transmit class content and signal from PTZ cameras, Arec's partner in the country, Sensuslab, recommended to the school as a solution the media station LS-300. This model of 3 channels can simultaneously record and stream a video composed of three different sources to two RTMP platforms.
Video can include overlays, such as school logos or teacher credentials, and funds that help emphasize the content of the classes or that serve for branding.
One of the defining features of the LS-300 is its ease of use.. It can be controlled in many ways, even through a graphical user interface (GUI). This can be used on any connected display, either with a computer mouse or with a touch input, and the school uses it through the A-TS01, Arec's interactive touchscreen designed specifically for teachers.
Through this display and the switcher built into the LS-300, it is possible to select any combination of network PTZ cameras and computer content, with a single touch, making it easier for the teacher to focus on the classroom and not worry about technology.
